WHAT WE DO
Shipbuilding industry
ENGnD Oy provides engineering services for shipbuilding industry, system suppliers and their network. We have over 30 years of experience working with the demanding projects. Today most of our marine assignments come from cruisers, ferries and special ship projects. Together with our network we do basic and detail design and site supervision for shipyards’ turnkey- and system suppliers. Our services cover also project management, mechanical completion, engineering of modular applications and SRtP analysis.
Basic Design
In the basic design phase drawings, diagrams and plans are developed to meet the Owner’s requirements and are submitted for authority bodies, such as classification society and national authorities. Basic design phase is typically executed by the Contractor and ENGnD is providing resources for Contractor’s basic design team.
Detail Design
During the detail design phase detailed level workshop drawing package, including cutting and pre-fabrication information is provided for the constructing Yard to meet the Yard’s practices and selected construction method.

Mechanical Completion
Mechanical completion and project commissioning processes are to verify that all the systems and components of the product in consideration are designed, inspected, installed, tested, operated and maintained according to the specified operational requirements of the Owner or the final client.
Project Management
ENGnD Oy provides qualified personnel for project management to supervise, guide, monitor and control newbuilding and conversion projects.
